How to prep for a cleanse

In the days leading up to your cleanse, remove any stimulants such as sugar, caffeine, alcohol and dairy to make the transition as easy as possible. It can be hard to go out for dinner and drinks when you’re cleansing so it’s best to clear your schedule or book in your cleanse across days you’re free. Your day to day will be fine (you might have even more time than usual with your newfound energy) but this will help you stick to your cleanse schedule.

How many days should I cleanse for?
This is a very personal decision. If you have never cleansed before, you may want to start with a 3-day cleanse and work your way up. If you already live a nearly raw, vegan lifestyle or have cleansed before, 5 days is 60% more cleansing time, and you will release many more toxins.

Can I exercise while cleansing?
In general, it’s best to avoid intensive exercise like HIIT (high interval training), running and resistance training on a Plenish juice cleanse. Instead focus on lighter activities such as gentle yoga or a brisk walk.

Will I feel hungry, sick or lightheaded?
With the juices each day most people find they’re rarely hungry on a cleanse because they’re consuming about 6kg of organic goodness every day. That said, it can take a bit of adjustment, especially if your body is used to a diet that’s high in caffeine, alcohol, sugar or processed foods. You will receive a cleanse manual with tips on how to get the most our of your cleanse and we’re here to support you every step of the way.
